This did what it said, have managed to turn old videos into digital files, easy to use, would recommend. I have had this product for about a month now.
Installation was fast and easy and allows me to directly connect my old video camera and VCR directly with AV cables.
Conversion is then just a matter of starting the video players and recording on the computer software.
Quality is great but this will mostly be dependent on the original tape quality and the heads on the playback device.
Easy to copy output files directly to USB stick and play in a smart TV.
There are options for editing. I have had this product for about a month now.

I have had this device for several years and it is still working perfectly - both through the supplied software and others (eg Audacity). I had other brands previously but they were all rubbish. Tried, other cheaper devices that were just a waste of money, but this one really hit the spot. Very happy with my puchase. Software works well too, once you get used to it's querks. Summary: Does the job, but tends to lower the image quality a bit as the signal passes through the capture card, which is a little sad. Based on this, the price is fair. Definitely much cheaper than an elgato capture card though!

I purchased this product in the hope of saving many old family videos. With in a couple of days I had successfully swapped some of my videos to digital and saved on usb drive and my hard drive. Will carry on doing the rest. The whole system was easy to use and came with easy instructions. One of the best products I have bought. The associated software is a bit clunky and slow but overall the thing captures analog sources well enough and preserves the charming visual artifacts that come with mediums like VHS. Worked well, easy to follow instructions and great value. Digitised all my old analogue camcorder tapes and now backed up. Worked with Windows 10, which the cheaper Easycap version didn't.
