I bought a Loctek wall mount for it and I think this is the only real weak point - the base of the TV is the deepest part and therefore it butts up right against the wall, so you have to be considerate about how the cables run. The aerial cable struggles the most as it has a to bend fairly tight to do this and some channels aren't happy with the slightly imperfect connection.

Still deserves a 5/5, it's half the price I budgeted for so it outweighs the minor shortcomings.

The good:

The set itself is large and looks great. Standard 8-bit colour looks surprisingly nice, especially for a cheap TV. Looks close to 100% sRGB, though brighter colours tend to get washed out a little so it might be closer to 90%. But, It's vivid and bright. The Ambilight is nice, something I didn't think that I would care about.

The bad:

Switching to "monitor" mode gives the best picture with the least "improvement" done by features that you don't need, though that mode is not available when running the apps on the TV itself. The 1080p scaling is a bit rough, it doesn't just so a clean integer scale and ends up smoothing things. The TV's smart software and menu's are a bit 'meh'.

If this were a $3,000 set I'd be giving it a 2-3 star rating, but it's not. She's CHEAP and looks far better than it should at that price point. Better than the other budget TV options.

I bought this specifically for my bedroom gaming (assassins creed and dead by daylight sort of game). the TV brightness was initially washed out for ps4 but with a few tweaks and adjustments , HDR etc it's looking AMAZING. cant complain, even though it's 60 hz, i know that the ps4 is 60hz too so i cannot see any lagging so far. The ambilight is unbelievable! I wouldnt recommend this tv for open hd channel, as the TV does not upscale to FHD/4k.

Really happy with the TV. LED lights on the back are a really nice touch and change colour with the scene on the TV, adds to the effect onscreen. There feels like an ever so slight lag between pressing a button on the remote vs the command reaching the TV, not something I've encountered before. Also the TV doesn't have all the smarts built in that some of the higher end models have, but this is to be expected.

I bought this for the ambilight which is great. The screen looks brilliant (after a lot of tinkering in the menus) the only thing I don't like is how long the menu takes to load. Great picture quality, sound is amazing and colour is a 3.5 out of 5.

This 65" Philips compared to my 75" LG, the Philips supersedes the LG in almost everyway except the colour and movement (frequency of pixels is sightly lower) but I also paid 3x as much for the LG so for the price this TV is a solid 4 out of 5 Great picture quality, sound is amazing and colour is a 3.5 out of 5.

Not as good as OLED but a huge step up from my old 1080p plasma. 65 inch is nice also. Amblight is a cool feature, it adds depth and for music it has some pretty funky settings. Recommend if your on a budget and are upgrading from a old 1080 tv. Be aware that it's still fairly hard to find 4k movies and this display isn't kind to bad quality content. Not as good as OLED but a huge step up from my old 1080p plasma. 65 inch is nice also. Amblight is a cool feature, it adds depth and for music it has some pretty funky settings. I purchase these TVs for School and the camp I work for. A great TV for a great price. We've had no problems with them since we started purchasing them years ago and probably now have 6- 7 of them in use. The only thing I question is about putting Amblight behind the TV? Service from PB Tech has been awesome with any questions we have. Might not be the best TV on the market but for the classroom or a camp is a great performer. for 1k on black friday, this is an absolute gem of a product, the 4k screen is crispy clear and colours are amazing, even comparing to much more premium options such as Oled or Qled. Watching netflix in bed feels awesome
