Samsung UA32T5300A 32" FHD Smart TV

Tizen has a lot of mainstream apps (Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime), but lacks a lot of apps available on standard Android TV (including F1TV).
The DLNA support is very poor and playback is not supported for a lot of older codecs and does not support DTS audio. The mediaserver now has to transcode about 90% of the content for this TV.
The issues will likely occur in playing old videos from flash drives as well although I have not confirmed this.
The DLNA scrolling is a bit sluggish too and there is no way to page forward, you can only scroll.

From a usability standpoint, this is the first TV that I've setup that required a laptop / phone to go to independent browser to setup the TV as I did not have an existing Samsung account so was given a QR code / link to set it up, but I couldn't do it on the TV itself.
I bought this TV for the bedroom so sleep function is very important, but this is the most convoluted process I've ever come across. The Options button is now one of the smallest buttons on the remote and then you have to navigate to:
Settings -> General -> System Manager -> Time -> Sleep Timer
It doesn't make a lot of sense.

I wish I could say that the picture quality was excellent to make up for the poorly designed features, but I find it accentuates grainy videos so watching older movies / series isn't great.

Last system update over-rode my settings, so now the *really annoying* built-in auto-play tv channel is back - and doesn't seem to be a way to prevent it now, which is kind of the last straw.

I looked at many reviews for this Smart TV, both pros and cons, and went with it anyway. The price was very good for the features and overall the description in the promotional material was pretty accurate. Sound does have to be adjusted to suit the listener but there is a good selection of sound options. And the really picky listener would probably have a Sound Bar or Home Theatre anyway.

My only concern was that even though it has a tuner, Digital and Terrestrial, it will only tune on Terrestrial. I tried connecting the Sat Dish directly but it would not tune in. Overall I am very happy with the TV settings and operation. It will do everything I need.

Good TV for price excellance picture with wide viewing angle, sound a bit average but most TVs need external sound system these days. Samsung TV channels providing additional programmes were a surprise.
