I use this to run a Unifi Switch-8 150W (connected to two downstream PoE access points), a Qotom mini-pc (J1900) running pfsense, and a QNAP TS-453U NAS. It works well, and gets me through power cuts here. It's quite compact and fits nicely onto a shelf on my rack, and has a good, bright, clear display so I can see what's going on. It shows load, voltage, and battery time remaining.
Cons are that there is only 2 plugs - one on the UPS and another surge protected. It also has a fixed, wired in power cable. This was a pain as I had everything set up to use IEC C15 (jug cord) type connectors and had to move a few things around.

On balance though it's great, and very good value.
Works as advertised. Despite what is stated in another review, this UPS works flawlessly in linux, just not with the companies official software (at least not on my system). You must use NUT. Monitoring and shutdown functions fine. https://blog.warbel.net/index.php/2017/09/15/configuring-powershield-ups-on-linux-and-integrating-into-zabbix/ Works as advertised. It may be a great machine, however, I noticed that the support for Linux systems is poor.
The Linux driver software is not up to date, and wreaks havoc with Firefox. It also did not detect the UPS.
On Windows7 , the UPS works fine. However, the UPS software has limited functionality and comes with large and clunky user interfaces.

I got this because I was sick to death of the internet going dead time after time, at least three or four times every week, usually right in the middle of some crucial piece of research. This power massager has prevented almost all further blackouts, with only one brief incident since installation. I had even tried calling Contact Energy over the problem, thinking the wiring in the house was suspect. Their dismissive response, with a threat of a $200 callout fee if the technician found nothing wrong, was entirely unhelpful and predictable. Their dismissive response, with a threat of a $200 callout fee if the technician found nothing wrong, was entirely unhelpful and predictable. With this battery equipped surge protector, with an LCD panel showing input and output voltages, battery charge and power issue status, gives a very reassuring level of confidence in the safety and efficacy of my electrical equipment. And the price is way less than the Contact Energy callout fee! I was so pleased I bought two of them, one for my computer (except for the printer, do not use it for that!) and one for my TV and home theatre system. So my valuable stuff is well protected, and now functions reliably, at no continuing cost as well.
Bought one of these for my Synology NAS so that it handles the odd brown-out and safely shuts down during a power outage. The NAS automatically detects the UPS via the supplied USB cable, barely any configuration needed. When power gets low the NAS shuts down and automatically fires back up when power is restored. Solid product, and silent when on power- a small buzz when on battery.
It can be monitored through through software (and supplied USB cable). The beeping alarm can be turned off too- but for some reason the software (a webpage) initially put in the date, then refused, and somehow lost the preference for the beeper to be off- maybe a reset of everything would solve it.
I put in a power plug that was quite tight (on other sockets too)- the back panel seemed to flex a bit when pushed in, which wasn't too reasurring- so just need to be a bit careful.

Brought this to run my PC through as we live on a Boat and power goes out constantly so having the extra time to save documents or to turn the power on has been amazing.
Never noticed the switch to the UPS and has done everything advertised well.
10/10 for the Product

Working from home during the lockdown started to prove testing at the best of times. With the over utilization of the lock ADSL and power networks, maintaining a connection was not a pleasure I had experienced.
Now with the UPS in place, my internet and sure signal connections are stable.
highly recommended!

This is the smallest Dynamix Defender UPS unit. Came with a good 12 page printed user manual. It has two outlets and is expected to last for approx 6 mins at 50% demand. It comes with (downloadable) power management software. This makes it quite suitable for a home use situation.
I have my desktop & monitor plugged in for use mainly as power conditioning and brown out cover. But as my PC is on 24/7; should a blackout occur, I know that the PC will automatically be shut down in safe way.
