Upgraded from an RTX2080, also EVGA and I was not disappointed. Any game I've thrown at it in 2K has been chewed up and spat out at max quality settings without as much as a stutter. Didn't think I needed the 12GB model, and in June 2022, I was right.
Only thing I am not of fan of is the RGB software. I've come from the Corsair ecosystem and my old EVGA didn't have addressable RGB. Its not that the RGB zones are limited, or that is lacks colour but the software used to control it. Corsair's iCue software is just superior. I have been hanging out for a little while now to get a 3080 after doing my research and setting my eyes on this card I finally had the cash to get one.

I have to shout it to the team at the Christchurch Central store as they blew me away with their service level.

After getting this card home and switch everything out in my pc. Getting into my favorite games and seeing the performance increases was spectacular. I previously had a 1080ti FE. Every game was just amazing and everything was butter smooth and the ray tracing experience was just amazing.

What an absolute beast. I bought this 1440p gaming and it destroys every game at Ultra settings. I usually dial the settings back to High and get pretty high framerates too.

It gets hot though, so make sure you have a case with good airflow. I have an NR200 and the GPU was peaking at 81 degrees. After a quick undervolt I get the same performance but temps now peak at 65 degrees. What an absolute beast. I bought this 1440p gaming and it destroys every game at Ultra settings. This card has blown me away. For a long time I was thinking of just getting a 3070 ti but I am glad that I went for this beast. I’m running a 1440p 21:9 monitor and am able to get 120fps in control with everything on ultra including all the ray tracing toggles. Cyberpunk runs stable at 70fps ultra everything. CSGO easily stays above 300fps. The only thing I’m not happy with yet is the amount of heat output. Be aware you need an extremely high airflow case to keep this card under control. The cooler from evga is very good but my case airflow couldn’t keep up with the heat output from the card as it wasn’t able to exhaust it out quick enough ...view more This card has blown me away. I switched to a LianLi O11 which did a much better job. Pease also note that this card needs a lot of power so you’ll need a powerful psu that support three seperate 8 pin outputs. The only thing I would say is make sure you have three dedicated PCIE power leads from your PSU to the card with no splitters. Just the girth of this card can give you a great sense of the power it can deliver.

Besides the obvious pricing issues the card itself is excellent however I would reccomend the 12gb version. Hitting 10gb limit fairly quickly once maxing out settings in top tier games.
