Gigabyte NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Gaming OC 24GB GDDR6X Graphics Card

I recently built a new gen system for the purpose of kicking rendering times butt! I'm a VFX artists, and my previous system was running a Asus Rog RTX 2080ti. Now that GPU is still pretty good for gaming, but for the type of work I do in VFX, I'll require 2 or 3 of these GPUs just for rendering. So when I planned out a new build to take on rendering, it was like pulling Excalibur out from the stone ready to destroy anything in its path! Now my render times have gone from 20hours down to 15-30 minutes! It's mind blowing! Oh, BTW, I wasn't much of a gamer before, but I am now lol so since I know I've got enough power now, I've got a Samsung Neo G9 coming to work with the 27" Benq 4k and 24" 4k Huion pen display. A bit of an overkill, but I gotta have fun as well :D

This card is absolute beast, Temps stays around 62c(rua way cooler than my evga rtx 3080), it easily boost to 2790mhz at stock, only reason I am giving it 4 for now is I want to wait more as other 4090s have 12 pin connector melt downs, nothing like that has happened with me yet. Plus this card by default didn't worked fluently with my motherboard, I had to clear CMOS and now it's absolutely brilliant! I've had this card for over a month now. This card is by far the best Graphics card that I've ever owned.
It's a beast in every sense of the word: It runs everything in my library perfectly and with very high FPS on my 4k setup. It's temps are massively better, running 20 degrees cooler than my previous RTX 3080Ti, which is amazing to me. It also runs a lot quieter, seldomly ramping up the fans to a point where I may notice the noise.

It is a very large card, so make sure you have the room in your case. It is a very large card, so make sure you have the room in your case. However, I believe that there are 3rd party adapters available which should negate this issue , shouldbit be a problem for you.

I have always had very good experiences with PB Tech Hornby and this was no exception. After a lot of research and deciding to purchase this, I ordered it online.
I had selected that I would pick it up.
They responded within just a few minutes and advised me that they will let me know when it would be ready. I thought that I'd be waiting hours, however after just 5 minutes, I had a txt from them advising that it was ready.
When I arrived to pick it up, it was there waiting on me and the transaction was fast & friendly. Thanks team.

This thing eats my power so fast after running it, my power bills are now equal to the price i brought this gpu. (I brought it when it released) But i can run cyberpunk now which is superb. Definitely recommend!

This monster is absolutely end game. Currently only running this with a 1440p 240hz display but it tackles every single game I've played on it without breaking a sweat.

Really crushes any game at max settings and can generate A.I pictures on stable diffusion in 3 seconds. Cyberpunk max with psycho raytracing is pretty smooth on Ultrawide 1440p. I upgraded to this gpu after having my 1060 for a few years, works way better than I thought it would - cool temps even after hours of gaming, no coil whine from what I can hear, plays everything on 4k with no issues and runs quietly too. Couldn't ask for more for what I needed and I'll happily keep this GPU for a number of years :). I was debating on getting a 4080 super but changed my mind and got a 4090. I bought this card for the business, we were using an evga 3090 (also a PBTech purchase), BUT this 4090 is like night and day in rendering terms. One day it stopped working and we had to Warranty return it, PBTech and Gigabyte had no qualms and both got on with the job and it was returned as new!. Thanks all for your aid, despite having the 3090 to fall back on this 4090 has put us on track again, highly reccommended. Just replaced a Watercooled 3080ti that died, was initially going to wait till 50 series to upgrade, I didnt realize how much of a step up this would be. Have undervaulted the card and cant believe how quite it is. Done some quick testing on Starfield, Avatar Pandora, Assasans Creed Valhalla, Alan Wake 2, The Last Of Us 2 all on Ultimate Settings, Frame rates really good and buttery smooth. I Would definitly recommend. Have orderd an EKWB Water Block so will be watercooling when it arrives, Glad Gigabyte 40 series cards are now being supported by EKWB unlike the 30 series.
