Originally when I bought this card I had high hopes, I'd read a lot about it online, lots good, and lots bad. I decided to ignore the bad things said about it and it's drivers and hope it wouldn't happen to me. I was only partly wrong. Skip forward a few weeks and I installed the card, powered on, and straight away I had a problem: no display, the VGA light on my motherboard was on. The next day I had it fixed (I'll go into detail on how i fixed it at the end of this review). After that first hurdle, my brand new PC was good to go, functioning as it should. Originally when I bought this card I had high hopes, I'd read a lot about it online, lots good, and lots bad. I had a good couple weeks with my PC with (mostly) no problems, there were a few little hiccups; a loss of display and one BSOD. Then, 2 weeks later, out of nowhere, my PC crashed and I lost display again, the VGA LED on my mobo was stuck on and I had no idea what to do. Presently I have no clue what the problem is, whether it's a driver issue, or just a faulty card, I'll update this review when I find out. I give this a 2.5 star rating, It has amazing performance; I have yet to find a game it wont run at over 100fps on my ultrawide (3440x1440) monitor, but only if you can get it to work. Only downside for me is that it also comes with some major problems (in my experience). You may get lucky and have a flawless time with this card, but that's up to you whether or not you want to risk it.
Pros:
* Amazing performance, 100+ fps in all games I've tested.
* Sublime cooling, I've never hit over 70 degrees under load, far superior to AMDs reference card
* Really good cost/performance, If you r budget allows it, it's definitely worth it for it's performance (however, read the cons first...)
Cons:
* so far there's only one con with this card. It's unreliable, One minute I'm fine, the next, black screen and getting VGA errors.
I hope it's a problem that can be fixed, I hope that if it's a software issue that AMD doesn't just leave us in the dark about it.
Conclusion:
Because of the problems this card has been giving me, I can't fully recommend it, It should just work out of the box, and it doesn't. I wish I could give this a 5-star review, but that one con has just ruined it. If you do still buy this card, I hope you have a better experience than I did.
My original problem and how I fixed it:
So when I first put the card in I was getting a black screen and the 'EZ-Debug' LED for VGA was on, indicating a problem with the GPU. What I did to fix it was put a different GPU in, went into the BIOS, and changed the PCIe speed from 'auto' to '3.0'.
This GPU is totally squanch. This GPU is totally squanch.
I got this card as an upgrade to my Sapphire Nitro RX 580 SE. I have had the card for over a month now and it has been very good. That said it was not without some issues.
Pros:
* It pushes really good frame rates in the games I play and doesn't have any issues hitting well over 100 FPS. (On the Heaven bench mark it got 249 FPS).
* Good value and the price is only slightly higher than the reference card. The price of this card is pretty good in my opinion.
* Way better cooling than the blower fan.
Cons:
* AMD drivers! I have had some serious issues, it is getting better since AMD released ver 19.9.2. However I was still getting cr...view more

Cons:
* AMD drivers! I have had some serious issues, it is getting better since AMD released ver 19.9.2. However I was still getting crashes. After I turned Anti Lag off I have only had the occasional BSOD. New drivers will hopefully fix everything.
* The fans can get really loud when pushing the frame rate and it takes a long time for them to normalize. (It is quite a bit louder than my Nitro RX 580). Again new drivers will hopefully fix this.
Over all it is a good card it will be a GREAT card when AMD gets on top of their drivers.

I needed something to replace my ageing GTX 1080 that was having artifacting issues. This little card is a beast, I mainly play escape from tarkov and it works well with my setup! Purchased this 5700xt to replace my gtx 1060 in mid November. This card is an absolute beast! Handles any game At 1080p on max settings at 100fps minimum, would definitely recommend this card for 1440p gaming, and future proof 1080p gaming, especially for the price.
Only slight inconvenience I’ve experienced with this card is coil whine. In some games when loading a match, the card whines for a couple seconds and then is fine again. This doesn’t affect performance at all, and won’t cause problems, can just be kind of annoying, which is the reason for 4 stars, but would still highly recommend this product as you most likely won’t have the...view more

Good price for the power of the card. Looks good etc. But The Radeon drivers really let it down, they are so glitchy and havent been resolved in numerous updates. Causing games crashing etc. Massive problems, only solution is to downgrade the driver manually. Hours of messing around and still have some GPU issues with temp freezing etc.
My advice spend a bit more and get the RTX2070Super or better. If you're strapped for cash and want a good card and dont mind messing around with drivers on end get it. Otherwise do yourself a favour and get the better card.

I had stability issues at first. Turns out that AMD will release a BIOS update that will fix the PCIe Gen4 issues that the X570I Chipset has. To fix any stability issues in the mean time, switch the PCIe port from Auto / Gen4 to Gen 3 in the BIOS. Now it is running stable with no issues. I had stability issues at first. Upgraded from a 1050ti, absolutely MASSIVE change in performance and can run the majority of games on my ultrawide at ultra settings, 90fps+.
It can get a bit loud under full load but if you have a case with good airflow, it shouldn't be a problem.
However, it is fantastic value for the money and I highly recommend buying this if you want an upgrade.

I bought this card, for my first all AMD build & I was excited to test out this card in my new PC.
Unfortunately I had far too many crashes, which resulted in replacing my first card under warranty. The replacement worked really well until the crashes started again.
It took me quite a while to resolve them, using Auto-runs software to figure out what the issue was.
Despite taking my whole PC before that, to the technician to troubleshoot the issue but couldn't replicate the crashes I was having.

Most of which was mostly Win10 & the AMD drivers having conflict with each other, using features like Anti-lag & Freesync. Had to even disable their sound drivers.
Not to mention RGB software that came pre-installed on my Win10 OS.
I just wished this card worked perfectly out of the box & bought this since it was more powerful than the 2060 Super & much cheaper too. Especially watching the positive reviews from Big Tech channels on Youtube.
As much as I want to give it a higher score, the card has been held back by buggy drivers that gave me a ton of issues.
Namely crashing while PC is idle or crashing during or exiting a game. Regardless what game I played.
Pros: Very powerful card for its price & is buttery smooth in most games, especially Devil May Cry 5. Plus I got it on a great deal during 2019's Black Friday Sale.
Cons: Didn't work perfectly out of the box & resulted in a lot of troubleshooting & getting a replacement card(Under warranty) that caused a great deal of stress. Its unacceptable that the drivers are still not properly optimized.
My only advise to either wait for the drivers to become properly optimized on AMD's side, or if you can't wait you can get the Nvidia's RTX Super Cards, if you can afford them. Even though I hate how overpriced their cards are.
NB: Currently I have no issues at all at the moment & can use my PC without worrying about it crashing. Currently using version 20.1.3 drivers. :)
Brilliant card, runs cool and quiet enough, I would give it 5 stars however AMD need to work on their drivers as I'm just not getting the FPS I should be on some games. In hindsight would probably pony up more for the 2070 super - here's hoping my experience improves as drivers mature.
