Frame Rate Target Control

Frame Rate Target Control (FRTC) enables users to set a target maximum frame rate when playing an application in full screen mode; the benefit being that FRTC can reduce GPU power consumption (great for games running at frame rates much higher than the display refresh rate) and therefore reduce heat generation and fan speeds/noise on the graphics card.

Frame Rate Target Control caps performance not only in 3D rendered in-game scenes, but also in splash screens, loading screens and menus, where frame rates can often run needlessly into the hundreds of FPS. A good card for those wit

I'm aware that out there legions of gamers will think disparaging thoughts about my choice of graphics card, for the simple reason that compared to the big grunty ones that cost four figures, this one is pretty low-spec. However, brilliantly sharp resolutions and absolutely fantastic frame rates are lost on me, as I'm partially sighted. What I needed in a graphics card was something to replace my ancient but still working HD 7850, with an increase in V-RAM from 2 gb to 4. So this card suited my needs.

Great Card low price

I brought this card after my 7 year old card decided to RIP. After reading many reveiws about this card i decided to get it.
Its such a great card, makes everything look that little bit better then my old one. Taking into consideration my system is 7 years old having a lower spec card in doesnt bottle neck in any way.

Do consider this card if your looking at a new card for new build on a budget or like me a new card for a old system.

Great value for the money you pay

I wasn't sure how the graphics card would perform but I was pleasantly surprised when I fired up The Witcher 3 on Ultra graphics and was getting a solid 30 - 35 frames per second with NVIDIA hairworks turned off. I've tried some other games such as inside, The walking dead and and they all work fine as well on max graphics setting on a 1080p monitor. Highly recommend if you're wanting a cheap graphics card on a budget.

almost excellent

First up excellent service from PBTEC. Ordered one day here the next (Eastern BOP). I purchased the card to replace my HD 7770 which has served me well but was struggling a bit with Far Cry Primal. It has doubled the frame rates so the game is so much better to play. Unfortunately I cannot get it to run in the Pcix16 slot on my Mbd so am restricted to the 8X slot. This is a problem with my Mbd and probably restricts the true potential of the card. Since installing this card I now get infrequent Game freezes which I have to shut the game and start again ,which it does with no hassles until the next freeze . Its most likely a driver issue so...

It's not bad!

I bought the card mostly for gaming and mining bitcoin.. It doesn't have the highest hashrate for bitcoin, but it's pretty decent for entry level gaming.. Not bad overall :).

While i am both happy and annoyed with these cards my overall experience has been relatively positive.

However I'd suggest checking up on the sku codes before purchasing these cards and also suggest buying in person as i later found that the 2 i recently purchased are not true RX560's but the rehashed RX460's better known as the RX560D and they only provide 896 stream processors rather then the full 1024 that the RX560's are suppose to have so was a bit of a let down when i found that out the hard way but overall not a bad card very nice.
