Nitro Glow 2

VR Friendly

The ports are HDMI 2.0b, the latest update, with an 18Gbps bandwidth, up to 32 audio channels, and is able to support 4K 50/60 resolutions like 2160P, whilst remaining entirely backwards compatible with older HDMI specifications.




Frame Rate Target Control

Frame Rate Target Control (FRTC) enables users to set a target maximum frame rate when playing an application in full screen mode; the benefit being that FRTC can reduce GPU power consumption (great for games running at frame rates much higher than the display refresh rate) and therefore reduce heat generation and fan speeds/noise on the graphics card.

Frame Rate Target Control caps performance not only in 3D rendered in-game scenes, but also in splash screens, loading screens and menus, where frame rates can often run needlessly into the hundreds of FPS. Users might wish to set a very high cap just to limit wasteful FPS like that seen in menus and such, while still taking advantage of the responsiveness given by FPS well beyond 60.

Sapphire RX580 Nitro+

Excellent version of the rx580, does what it says on the tin, just spits out games with no apparent effort. Paired with my freesync monitor at 1440p I can always get things to run nicely and with radeon chill and the solid cooling of the card it's kept nice and cool and too quiet to notice. All of this while having a top quality build and classy looking design, + rgb you can set how you like. Form and function rolled into one.

Great for gaming (great FPS) and mining if you get the micron version you can OC the card to 1130 core and 2250 mem to achieve 30.5 mh/s on Ethereum or ETH hash algorithms although the Hynix models only get 22 mh/s and do require bios modding to get to 30 mh/s and if you get Samsung you should see well above 30 mh/s! but in general, this card is great for mining and gaming and has good aesthetics! and is a great value for mining and gaming at PBTECH!

I have an RX460 in one pc, bought this RX580 for my other pc, expecting better results with TRAINZ Tane version, and yes, definitely improved visuals, but still a little bit jumpy and runs 100% (task manager graph) when I max out all the TRAINZ settings, like ultra water and ultra shadows and ultra distance - not a complaint, just an observation.

RX580 in an eGPU

Great card, running this in a Razer eGPU enclosure via Thunderbolt 3 on a 2018 Mac mini. Great frame rates, stays cool, very happy. Would have loved a Vega or VII, but this is way better value. nVidia not really an easy option for most Mac users at the moment, and anyway too many of their cards are overpriced (2070 etc) or hard to find (1070).

Fantastic card for the money, I have played numerous new titles with high to ultra settings with great results. The card does not run hot, it looks good, and it performs very well on everything i have tried it on.

Excellent graphics card for the price

This card runs very cool and quiet. With idle load, the fans stop running, making it silent. While under 100% load, the fans still run quietly but keep temperatures at or under 70 C at all times. It does draw more power than a 1060 but it is not a problem if you have a good power supply. And since it is cheaper than 1060 when I bought it, with similar performance, it is a good choice for 1080p/60fps on high or ultra settings. 8GB VRAM is definitely overkill as no games really used more than 4GB, but it is good to have some headroom.
