Can I swap out parts and/or change/remove Operating systems in a PB Tech PC?
We can add any part to a PC for a small fee as long as we don't need to remove an existing part for it to fit, for example adding more RAM, an extra hard drive, or adding a graphics card to a PC without one (we can even SLI/Crossfire for you if it is compatible). We cannot change components that are part of an existing build e.g. Upgrade an existing graphics card or add a SSD with Windows installed if the PC only has a single hard drive (as the OS is already pre-installed). If you do have a specific requirement, then one of our experienced sales team will be happy to build a system that suits your needs.

Looking for something to provide a good basis for an entry level PC with room to upgrade in the future. Surprised to find it performing above my expectations
Rainbow Six: Siege (medium 1920x1080) at 80-100fps.
Call of Duty:Warzone (medium 1920x1080) at 80fps.
Witcher III (high 1920x1080) at 60 fps.
Overwatch (high 1920x1080) at 60-80fps.
Valorant (highest 1920x1080) at 100-120fps.
Got this PC purely to satisfy my competitive gaming needs, with room to upgrade in the future.
Immediately impressed with the performance in Valorant, at 1080p max settings getting way over 240fps.
Similar performance in CS:GO too and keeps it stable for hours of play.
Destiny 2 and Battlefield V at max settings 1080p over 60fps solid.
Forza Horizon 4 and R6 max settings except for anti-aliasing at 1080p maintaining 60fps.
It's cheap, looks and feels cheap, but the performance is excellent. Saved good money for a nice monitor too.
Let's be real here, its a cheap gaming build not a luxury yacht. For anyone looking to game on a budget this is it. it also doubles quite nicely as a standard home PC,
What it is NOT however is a workstation, the CPU is the main drawback to this and is not suited as a workhorse.
This is built to ride just in the margin for gaming, but lacks power for programs like Blender, Premiere Pro, After Effects and CAD.
If you're looking for a gaming AND workstation you gotta look higher.
Otherwise the only complaints I have is the build (for mine anyway) wasn't very tidy and some stuff felt loose. Also the WiFi wasn't very good.
It's a budget build, not much to get your hopes up on, but it is determined to deliver. As long as you're not fussed on the visual quality and whether you can see the pores on your favorite waifu, you'll get more than acceptable gaming performance squeezed out of this thing. Running most of my games on med-high with fancy lighting off at 2560x1440 at 60fps. Bought a 1660 Super later on and boom, now I can run games at higher settings in excess of 90 fps. There is definitely noticeable micro-stutters, and load times are a tad long, also the motherboard is kinda meh, but for the price I can live with it.
