Seagate Technology has a long history in the digital storage space, being a major part of the early microcomputer revolution that took place in the 1980's. Starting out with their first 5.25" hard drive, the Seagate brand as it's known today manufacture and designs an extensive range of solid state and traditional hard drive solutions for servers, laptops, desktops and now even gaming consoles through partnerships with Microsoft Xbox and Sony PlayStation.
