Dear valued PB Tech customers
All PB Tech stores are now trading with updated store hours.
Even though the threat of COVID-19 has significantly reduced in New Zealand, the safety of our customers and staff remains a strong focus for us so a number of changes to our usual store processes have been made:
1-hour click and collect is still the recommended way to shop at PB Tech: If your requirement is urgent, and you can get to a PB Tech store in the coming days, we strongly recommend avoiding the overloaded courier network and using our 1-hour click and collect service instead. It's super fast, convenient, and in the interests of health and safety minimises interaction between you and our staff in store. While our courier partners remain overloaded, this is the fastest way to buy at PB Tech.
Controlled entry into stores: To ensure safe social distancing we will be limiting the number of customers who can enter our stores at one time.
Hygiene: Our stores have implemented new hygiene protocols including regularly disinfecting high contact surfaces like counters and eftpos terminals.
Returns and warranty: All return and warranty requests must be submitted online, but you will be able to drop off items approved for return at your local store (not Auckland Uni).
Out of warranty repairs and services: We recommend pre-booking service jobs online by first requesting a quote. It's easier and faster, although you will still be able to head in-store and drop off your device with our service team directly if you prefer.
Our courier partners have made a significant effort and are definitely showing signs of catching up on the backlog, with the majority of orders now delivered within 3 days. However, the couriers are still not able to guarantee this and we would rather give you a straight answer that it may take longer. There are a small percentage of orders that are still in the system for more than a week, but as each day goes by the numbers of these ‘stuck’ orders is declining. We are all looking forward to the couriers getting back to normal service which is normally fantastic, but thank you for your patience while they catch up, we are nearly there!
