Great to have a battery charger that does things in a few hours rather than taking a whole day / overnight like the Energiser one I had.

I wish I'd just bought this charger a couple of years ago. The Eneloop batteries are great, but it also charges my Camelion and LLOYTRON brand rechargeables as well. It also picked up faults that I already suspected in my oldest sets of cheap Camelion AAs, so that was nice to have confirmed and dump them. I wish I'd just bought this charger a couple of years ago. Fast charging and long lasting?? What else do you need? No better batteries and charger for the current times. Have been waiting years for the technology to get to this stage. This is the balance! It's a good battery charger and nice rechargeable batteries. I rated 1 star because all of a sudden the charger didn't work anymore and I only do some light charging and I only had it for a few months. I was hoping it would last longer than what I had experienced. It's a good battery charger and nice rechargeable batteries. It is so much better to have the peace of mind to know that the charger is taking care of all the finnicky details of getting a charge right, so that I don't have to worry about damaging my batteries. No worries about overcharging, or charging in pairs that are well matched so one does not get over charged, or if it is fully charged yet. I should have spent the little extra years ago.

My only negative comment is that this charger refuses to charge some of my old batteries that have already been damaged by low quality chargers (e.g. they only hold 75 charge). So I have to use the old chargers for those batteries, but realistically I should probably just throw those old batteries away and save on some hassle.

Really enjoying this charger. Great, fast charging. Doesn't always like other brand rechargeables...it'll take some and others it will spit the dummy at, so best to use with the Eneloop batteries...not just because of that but also because they last just soooo much longer.
