Does what it says
I needed one of these for a new GPU; the PSU I have supported 1 x 8-pin and 1 x 6-pin, but the new card needed 1 x 16 pin (with an included 2x8->1x16). Daisy chained in this configuration this cable works flawlessly and saved any PSU upgrade hassle for a handful of dollars.
It's got a nice solid feel, too - I'm not fretting it's going to catch fire or fall apart.
Can't Complain
Old GPU needed 6 Pin cable, New GPU required an 8 Pin cable. 8 Pin cable was missing from my 1000w modular PSU so I purchased this adapter. Worked great although after installing I couldn't close the side cover of my PC case due to it sticking out too far. Solution was to buy a 90 degree 8 Pin adapter. Connected the 90 degree adapter to the 6 Pin to 8 Pin adapter, plugged into GPU, closed the side cover and all is now good in the world.
10/10 Would trade again A++++
