Awesome quality and affordable
Easy to set up, strong adhesive clip so no screws needed. The app is easy to use, the camera is clear & doesn’t pick up false alarms, but alerts you when someone is either near your door, appears in camera, rings the doorbell. Adjustable record time, no subscription needed it saves them to the cloud. Can talk back through microphone to give courier instructions etc. and for the price it’s a great option over the expensive brands. We have had it on for 2 weeks and battery level is only at 62% so super long battery life.
A good starting point for a video doorbell
Quirky App, but does the job - eventually! Be prepared to spend time trying to (1) get the doorbell connected to your Wi-Fi (2) getting set up on the quirky Home App, ("You have entered an invalid email address" took a while to get past!) and (3) trying out innumerable combinations of setting for all the possible options when someone rings the bell.

Well featured smart doorbell with very minor drawbacks
I was impressed with Xiaomi's other smart home products, so decided to go with their smart doorbell as well. I decided to rely on its built-in rechargeable battery rather than wiring it into the house. So far, that's paid off - almost 3 weeks in and it has only used 10% of of its battery. That's even better than advertised!
Camera quality is good and person recognition seems to work perfectly.
The video footage doesn't rely on a subscription, as there is free cloud storage for 3 days worth of video.
