Intel Core i9 13900KF CPU

The I9-13900KF is great, but be warned it will start crashing. Intel has been overvolting CPUs in the 13th and 14th gen lineups causing massive instability which makes applications crash or your entire PC at worst. High end CPUs are the most affected by the issues, including the 13900KF.
If you're thinking of building a new PC, at time of writing go with a AMD CPU. They tend to be better than intel right now in terms of efficiency anyways. when the news of instability originally came out over a year ago, my cpu was still doing fine. i thought i was safe since i saw no problems after a year of use, and i updated the bios/ME everytime there was an update available to ensure it stays alive. i even power limited the CPU to make sure it doesnt overheat. yet here i am, two years after purchase with a completely unusable CPU, causing kernel bugs every few minutes. sometimes just crashing applications, other times the entire system hangs. have submitted an RMA request to hopefully replace with something more stable. My new build includes this cpu which has given me the performance I was looking for in a 2023 pc and the ability to handle all 4K encoding, geospatial 3D view and gaming tasks.
