I put protection on the surface of the desk and used it to make access easier to the small appliance for fixing. Will also make a combination work/computer/ desk with the bonus of it going up and or down by a bit making it much easier to work one computers, small appliances or as a 2nd desk next to the computer for overflow paper work and projects.... I've had this desk for a bit over a year now and have been very happy with it. The quality of the materials is very good and easy to clean. Assembly was quite easy (although I would recommend two people to flip it over after attaching the legs). It really can handle a lot of weight, and there is hardly any wobble at all. With two ultra-wide monitors on arms, I was expecting a bit of movement, but it's barely noticeable. The safety stop function works, as I found out when accidentally leaving a couple of items under the desk when lowering it.

The speed and smoothness of the height adjustment is excellent too, plus being able to set presets has been really handy.
I wish had this desk years ago.

A true sit stand desk. I can sit on the floor and use it easily or stand and use it at the right height. It goes high enough for my 6ft brother to use it comfortably as well. Plenty of space on top for all the technology, stationery, and other bits and pieces I need to use at once.
Cons: weight is prohibitive without someone to help set it up; and tech cords do need to be extended long enough to stretch to the top of the desk when standing. Was a little hesitant buying this desk but am pleasantly surprised with the quality and stability of the desk. I went for the higher spec'd version at 125kg load limit, which also comes with an increased range of movement. I can highly recommend this for anyone looking at a (semi) professional solution at home. Add in an under desk computer mount and cable channels and you have a nice sleek looking, yet super functional setup.
