Very good looking minimalistic design. Some budget coolers tend to look a bit cheap or ugly, but this cooler looks clean and minimalistic. Great if you don't want RGB on your cooler.

Only got it recently because my Fractal Design 280mm water cooling has failed. I am not switching back to the aio which I've paid 4 times the price. Can't hear any noise while gaming, temps are great (5800X3D) playing games usually hoovers around 60 sometimes 70 in battlefield. On water temperature was better maybe by 2-4 degrees. I really don't see any point getting anything better than this. The only issue I have is the clearance with my vertically mounted GPU. If it could turn 90° and aim fan up/down it would be ultimate perfect cooler. Only got it recently because my Fractal Design 280mm water cooling has failed. I like how it comes with 2 more mounting brackets so you can put another fan on if you want to.

Cons: It doesn't match my case, even tho the product photo shows a cold white it's more peach/faded looking (but that might just be my unit)

recommended for anything up to an I7 or Ryzen 7 because it would keep those cool enough but highly recommended for I5's and Ryzen 5's as it is an excellent budget option, especially in white cause its the only budget white CPU cooler I could find (at the time) just keep the color in mind :D

Bought this to replace the stock cooler that came with my i5 12400f which when idling was 45deg and 30 mins of bf2042 it would reach 85deg. With the ak400 it idles under 30deg and maxes out at 61-63deg in bf2042, very happy. Was using the AMD Wraith Spire on a 5700X, but was running at 80 to 85 degrees under full load at 4.6ghz with PBO engaged. Now idles at 29 degrees and under full load it goes between 60-70 degrees. worried if 12700 need AIO for gaming but it wasn't. does perfect job around 60 temperture with max option in latest Call of duty and AC Valhalla.

Bought from a gamers nexus review and it is holding up just as well as I thought, runs my 5700X 20c cooler than the stock cooler from my old CPU that I was using before I got the AK400, probably not a good idea if your CPU draws more than 90w under load though. I usually run water AIOs in my PC but decided to try and aircooler for my recent upgrade.

I was at first using the stock cooler that came with my Ryzen 5 7600 until I found a certain game would push the thing up to 93° under a particular scenario.

After installing the AK400 it's maxing at 76° under the same conditions. It idles between high 30's and low 40's depending on room temperature. This is perfectly acceptable and in the ball park of an AIO priced 3 times higher.
