I am happy so far, it seems to run just fine on my PCIe 3 M.2 slot, though I am aware this is the bottleneck for speeds, I am happy with my purchase and can confirm that I have been running two different distro's of Linux on it with no hassles. Man, I dunno what I was expecting, but the S70 Blade is quick! I had it doing a simple test to make sure everything was working as it should and on PCIE 3 (yes, yes... it's a crime to be running it on 3 when it could be on 4) and it was at 90% and 2.7GB/s read speed consistently the whole time while being 40°C or so (I do have the heat sink on), but it isn't all good news. When it comes to writing I had it going at upwards of 3GB/s writing when moving some 70GB over to it over the period of about 5 mins (it was moving from a hard drive) and it got to 51°C which is concerning especially with summer coming (at the time of writing this), but...view more Man, I dunno what I was expecting, but the S70 Blade is quick! Hint: it doesn't exist, which is very disappointing and will/has confused many) it should hopefully stop it from getting into that top 70°C it's rated for.
Certainly when you think about it's price compared to say, Samsung's two nearest priced equivalents, it really is a no-brainer to go with the S70 Blade. I mean the S70 Blade can maintain almost 2GB/s even when the cache is exhausted that even competes with the much more expensive higher end of Samsung's! Combined with the fact that you get a 740 TBW and a MTBF of 2 Million Hours makes the Blade a monster in comparison to others.

In terms of aesthetics, there's nothing impressive. Nobody is going to look at the Blade in your PC and be impressed by it's looks or anything. There isn't even a sparkly XPG logo... which gives me much sadness.
I'll be honest though, I don't buy things based on how they look, so it matters not to me.

One small irritation I would like to put down is that the ADATA Toolbox tells you that there is a firmware update and gets you to download the firmware and then the firmware updater tells you there is no need to update (why ADATA? Just why?), which I have to say annoys me a lot, but doesn't really affect anything.

I bought this to install and upgrade the storage on my Leveno Slim5i. The SSD was easy to install and set up (after reading how to setp up the bios). This SSD is performing well and has given me plenty of extra storage. Although next time maybe I will spend extra to get 3TB! I bought this to install and upgrade the storage on my Leveno Slim5i.
