Look I don't know what to tell you, it was the cheapest one, and it works. Shipping was fine although they used Aramex and every time without fail, they do not knock on my door even though I work from home, right next to the front door and window, ready to sign for it at any time. I can even see them down the driveway throwing it in my letterbox, free for the taking basically. Then it gets marked as signed for and that no one was home which is bullshit. Had the last one of these I ordered stolen and because Aramex claimed they left it in the letterbox as is procedure for signed packages apparently even without knocking or looking for somewhere safe as listed in delivery instruction (I always tell them where to put it as I did in my feedback to them) the company I bought from couldn't refund me because their insurance wouldn't cover it unless the couriers admitted fault, which is the dumbest circular logic but here we are, they had no proof either besides a GPS beacon showing they stopped at my rather long driveway with multiple dwellings). So anyway, it's cheap and works as intended, but maybe make a note about them not using Aramex and tell them where to leave your package so that when it inevitably goes wrong (unless PB Tech take my feedback and stop working with Aramex) you'll be covered? Good luck, you'll need it! :)

For a single SSD, it's expensive, but it's one of the best $/MB ratio. I was debating getting a SSD for booting and a HD for other stuff, but I have a lot of games and didn't want to load slower. We bought a lot of these drives in 2024 and even after the "fixed" bios updates, they are still failing at alarming rates. We will be switching to samsung 870's from now on. Just not worth the annoyance of pulling them out to replace with another one that also dies in a few days.

I'm using this SSD as a second storage device, replacing a dying mechanical hard drive of the same capacity. Before I was very hesitant to store things on my second drive because read/write speeds and loading times were going to be terrible. Forget about flash drives/memory sticks/thumb drives. If you’re not using the cloud, just buy one of these to transfer your large files between computers at work and home. I have upgraded to of my families laptops with this SSD, and I can honestly say that it is an excellent drive. Compared to other drives that are faster or have more esthetically pleasing exterior, this one makes up for in price and good performance. If you are looking for a cheap but effective upgrade for your old system, this is a great option! While the SSD that the guys have put in my laptop is absolutely awesome, taking my aged Dell from a 2-10 min start up (due to dying SATA HD) down to approx. 8 SECONDS, I want to comment on the service from PB Tech more.
Simply put, OUTSTANDING.

I of course went ahead with the work and now my laptop is literally as good as new for less than $300, where I was looking at a new laptop up around $1000+ initially. Top stuff.
I have already recommended PB tech to many and even bought a new laptop for my mother from their site knowing that she'd receive excellent service if things went pear shaped with it.
