One of the best SSD's I've ever used, using the Samsung Data Migration tool made it even better so I didn't lose any of my data and could clone the drive with ease.

I bought two of these to replace a prior failed SSD, set them up in RAID 0 and the speed is great, plus twice the storage I used to have. Prices for NVME drives have come down significantly which is making a huge difference to speed for your $$. I bought these over a year ago and they're going strong. As other reviewers has said, this drive is fast and easy to install (if socket for it on the motherboard and the holding down screw is accessible.) The price is right (at PB Tech) so time to buy if you are thinking about it.

Bought to replace a failed 2TB HDD and the difference in access speed and, therefore, loading of software and madia is remarkable. No noise. Quicker than a SATA SDD for around the same price. The real world performance of the 970 EVO Plus is much closer to its advertised speeds than the 980 Pro is to its, this, combined with the price difference and the identical TBW ratings, leaves the 970 EVO Plus a much better choice in most cases.
