I was using two SATA HDDs to host my Server and Client VMs. The drives constantly runs at 100% even when there's only one VM runing on each drive, especially painful when installing Windows Updates. As the computer already has a EVO 970 plus 500Gb as the system drive with a spare slot for another SDD, I took advantage of the recent labour day sale and grabbed the 2TB SSD. Moved all my VMs from those two SATA drives onto this new drive to see how it performs. Very pleased with the result. Have 5 VMs up and running at the same time and the disk usage is below 40% most of the time even when some VMs are running Windows Updates.
