At these sort of prices why wouldn't you opt for extra storage. Parcel arrived next day.

This HDD has good value and has not failed me. Great bang for buck, does what you need it to.
Great HDD, failure rates have dropped for these units to less than 1% per 5 years. long gone are the reliability questions.. but would you leave that 1% to chance!! do regular backups! before you loose your photos

This drive does exactly what it says on the box. It just does it with no problems. Boringly reliable. That's exactly what I want in a drive.
(I've never had a Seagate drive fail, I just outgrow then ... I must be on number 30 or so by now).
By the way, Seagate do an excellent programme to transfer your old data to your shiny new Seagate drive; that's also painless. to.
