Very Happy with it
Great purchase
Nothing much to say its a 4tb HDD and you get what you pay for. Really easy to set up even for somebody relatively new to PC gaming like myself. Doesn't come with cables though so be sure to have one already or pick one up.
Great hard drive for the price
Awesome worked perfectly and was the best price I could find on any site for a 4tb hdd which I needed for video games. I highly recomend.
Lots of storage at a good price
This has been great for backing up my old drives.
Good value, quiet in operation
I purchased this 4TB drive as a replacement for 2TB drive that had started to error. The old drive was 7200 RPM, I haven't noticed any difference with the slower 4TB replacement, but it is only used for backups and archival (my main desktop drive being an SSD). It seems quite quiet in operation. It's supposed to be more energy efficient - a nice bonus.

It's alright, and has a great storage size for the price! My only complaint is that it's a bit slow in my opinion, but does the job.

Great for archiving
I needed a larger drive for my old NAS (D-Link DNS-320L) so I could archive multimedia stuff mainly. Yes, the drive has SMR (Shingled magnetic recording) which is noticeably slower to write to than other Seagate drives, but if you're looking to just store heaps of stuff that doesn't change often it's not a problem. It is noticeably quieter than other drives too which is a nice bonus. Good value for money too. Thanks PB Tech!

I am avoiding these particular Seagate drives after a pattern of reproducible failures from them.
