So tiny! Bought it specifically to play Starfield on desktop PC, works a treat. I was skeptical about playing games from an external drive but it really is so fast, works great. Downloading Steam games directly to it is incredibly fast too.
No downsides but I would say if you were going to be carrying it around you would definitely want the padded version, this one is a bit slippery. So tiny! I purchased this ssd as a backup drive for my iMac.
The first unit would not allow me to open or reformat the drive and after many fruitless attempts and many visits to the support pages where again, nothing suggested worked. Then on to the support department where it was suggested I hadn’t followed the online support instructions properly. No joy! Then back to the shop where the friendly tech support voiced the same thoughts before another two tech support people, after failing to access the drive, admitted it was faulty:(

It has excellent speed and capacity and functions as my mirror image backup and emergency start up drive.
Highly recommended and apart from the early hiccup so are pbtech and their staff:)

better reviews about Samsung plus the salesperson at the store recommended it. Price is almost double the other brands but I can feel the difference. This one is a lot quiter and more stable. Hope I don't get to lose all my files again. So far so good. A well constructed, good looking, and sturdy enclosure, around a well performing SSD. I'm only surprised the warranty is a mere three years. Most TLC Samsung SSDs get five years.
