Affordable SSD expansion options
I bought it during the Labor Weekend sale. As a PCIe 4.0 SSD in Western Digital's Blue series, although its speed does not reach the upper limit of PCIe 4.0, its low price and stability make it worth the money.
In fact, the SN5000 is an upgraded product that evolved from SN550 → SN570 → SN580 → SN5000. The 2TB version uses WD/SanDisk 112L 3D NAND TLC (it seems the 4TB version uses QLC).
Although Samsung SSDs are faster, when I find that I can buy a 1TB Samsung SSD while I can buy a 2TB WD SSD for the same price, I will choose this larger capacity option.
