I recently purchased some WD hard drives and I couldn't be happier with my purchase! The drives runs super smoothly. I appreciate the quality and reliability that WD is known for, and these hard drives definitely live up to those expectations. It's a HDD so what can I say but I purchased this for my Synology NAS as I was short one drive to have the level of redundancy I needed. It fitted, formatted and performed as expected and was reasonably priced. Bought 4 for NAS system drive upgrade/replacement (WD PR4100 with truenas installed), bought this capacity/model because specs on Western Digital site suggests this model/capacity was quieter than adjacent capacities (guessing different internals). So if noise is important to you make sure you check this out before choosing a given model. No more noisy than the 6 year old 4x4Tb Red drives they replaced (of which 2 had failures).

Product titles says 3 year warranty, but checking on the Western Digital warranty status page seems to have a 5 years warranty (bonus!) expiring in 2028. This drive has been a real life-saver for storing sample libraries for audio production, and maintaining an archive of file backups.
