WD Elements SE 4TB Portable External HDD - Black

Excellent External HDD for storing all of my Digital Designing files .. Portfolio's,Templates Kits & 1000's of Elements and Family photos.

Previously I had all my Digital Kits/Elements files etc, stored on 4 separate 1TB Ext HDD's. Now instead of having to search through 4 different Ext drives to find a certain Element/Kit/Border/Frame/ or Photos etc, I have them all catalogued on the 4TB drive, it saves me so much time be able to find the file's I need to work with. The WD Elements 4TB portable HDD is a great choice for those who like to take all of their important family photos and videos or even photography on the go to show friends and family and still have space left for everything else.. I purchased this a few weeks ago as I needed some more storage space for backing up my documents. I would have preferred a desktop drive but I liked how portable this unit is. Works fine, no problem, great out of the box used for a off-site backup using standard Windows Backup on a schedule. Good decent size for the price. Wouldn't bother with the WD software to manage the drive that came with it unless you specifically need it for a certain purpose. It wanted to update & keeps having updates. I wanted a large capacity, small footprint, portable USB drive to travel in my laptop bag with me for periodic Time Machine backups of my MacBook. I'm happy, it's doing the job well. Was sick and tired of scratching around for a drive with enough storage so had a look around and found my favourite in a nice big 4GB drive. Not a fan of the very short cable it comes with - WD could've sprung for a little more cable to make it more user friendly, but I'm enjoying the extra storage. Have bought WD for a long time now and not been disappointed. This is a good buy. Much faster upload than my prior external drives. Here's hoping it is just as reliable as my prior WD drives (all going well so far) which have lasted for years.
