I have been flogging my old electric toothbrush for the last 5 years, knowing that it would barley hold a charge for the 2mins it took to brush my teeth. With a trip to Europe coming up I knew it was time to invest in a new one ... and then 'bam' the shining light of a PBTech Black Friday sale popped up on my screen. With an almost 50% off discount, and the best toothbrush bargain in town, it was a no brainer.

Note, it is not like an air pod case that holds it's own charge ... it still needs a cable to charge the toothbrush via the case. Still, I am 5 days into my holiday and it is still at 70% and I have yet to charge it.

Love the brush settings and different strength options. The green light to let you know you are brushing at the right pressure it nice. The Bluetooth app seems a bit gimmicky - it works a treat showing you where you have brushed more than other spots ... but just remembering to brush my teeth, let alone which ones I am brushing more is a mission for me. Still ... if you are detailed orientated this is perfect for you.

I love this toothbrush! The Oral-B iO Series 9 makes my teeth feel like I’ve just been to the dentist.
The little display is surprisingly helpful, it motivates me to brush properly and lets me pick the right mode for how I’m feeling.
It’s gentle but powerful, and the pressure sensor keeps me from overdoing it.

The magnetic base should be called a "barely magnetic base", you will need to be careful to place it where knocking the toothbrush won't end up with it in the floor. I managed to find a wall mount that has a guard to prevent it falling off at height. I'm not convinced about how good the 3D tracking is, but I do like that you can remove modes you don't want from the brush. They stupiodly don't tell you which brush head type is in the box, I'll work it out eventually but it wouldn't have killed them to say what they are. I bought this toothbrush based on the good reviews. The price seems high but it only has to prevent one filling or even reduce frequency of trips to the hygienist and it will pay for itself.
Seems robustly built so should last longer than my previous sonic toothbrush.
I though the bluetooth connection to the app would be a gimmick that I didn't use, but it is really good and makes sure I get thorough coverage (which somehow always seems to take longer than the 2 minute 'standard' brush).
