Midea MDDP50 50L / Day Dehumidifier with 6L Water Tank

This Midea Dehumidifier has impressed me so far after only a couple weeks use. I live in an older house and with a cold winter there's been a lot of condensation and moisture in the air. It's really helped to dry out rooms and specifically help speed up the drying time of clothes.
Although, it's a bit loud and might not be the best to have on while watching the tv in the lounge, it does a great job over night or while at work. Moving it room by room and shutting it off to do it's thing, it's done a great job. Haven't managed to crack the timer yet. This unit is very easy to set up and highly effective.
However it doesnt produce hot air as a biproduct of the dehumidification

This unit is so much better than the old dehumidifier I have. I have it in the basement and empty it twice a day. At first it was a bit didn't to put the water container back in, I find I tilt it slightly and that solved the issue.

We bought two of these. First one bought after the Auckland flood it dried out our house like a dream, and it warms up the house in winter saving a lot on power bill
After we moved to a 2-story house we decided to buy another one for upstairs as well. keeping the house dry and cosy.

Run quietly and is powerful.
But the water tank is tricky to install.
Sometimes the tank-full sensor was light up but the water tank was just half filled. Run quietly and is powerful.

There is a quiet function on this device, but it has to be only for looks as it does absolutely nothing for how loud it is. Very disappointed in product that’s for sure.
