the product does what it says, i connected it with my Xiaomi app and can read the Humidity and temp of my bedroom. At first it was a little bit difficult to get it connected to the phone but now it connects really quick. Handy wee devices (I now have 3) connecting to the app via Bluetooth. They appear accurate when compared to other brands I have. Easy to set up. Don’t forget you need to spend another 70 bucks to connect this with Alexa. After you connect this you understand it’s uselessness as Alexa can’t use readings in routines. The humidity reading is usually correct and the little face is cute, but the temperature is wildly inaccurate, even after doing the required firmware update (oh yeah, you need to update it during setup so have a smartphone handy). Our old, cheap one which has been dropped many many times (toddler) and broken still gives a more accurate temperature reading than this little device. Compared to my top of the line hygrometer, this is the most inaccurate out of all my meters. I have a wide range of them, and the cheapest ones I own ($4 each) are closer to the correct rh and temperature. Unless I press it in at the back, the display doesn't work. Also didn't come with a battery so had to purchase it separately.
