Ninja Creami Deluxe NC501ANZ 11-in-1 Ice Cream & Frozen Treat Maker

I've been using this almost everyday since receiving it, makes delicious ice-cream out of healthy ingredients. Not as loud as what I was expecting from reading other reviews, quieter than the ninja blender. There's basically every possible form of frozen treat supported, and soft serve is easy enough if you just leave it to sit for 5 to 10 minutes after churning.
I do not recommend using a milk and cream mix, as it tends to not mix well with NZ quality of dairy creams instead of American creams. It also might make you itchy.

You can get genuine spare containers from Bestbuys.co.nz as a 4 pack of coloured lid tubs cheaper than a rival retailer's 2 pack of coloured lid tubs.
(I prefer having specific tubs for specific types of frozen treats, save headaches from cross contamination concerns, or track unclear ingredients in a current tub.)
The only way you could get into minor issues is if you do not ensure the churning blade is securely attached in the top before you start the churning cycle.
Usually all it will do is drop off in the middle of coming back up the tub, so you might not see it and have to dig it out later with a spoon in a delicious mining task.

The best use for this Ice Cream maker is that you can make your own flavours, not just the same 6 flavours at your supermarket frozen aisle from different companies.
Did you fancy Saffron, Apricot, & Manuka Hokey Pokey for your weekend dessert - you can make it up from a tin of apricots, a dozen drops of Manuka honey, and 0.1 grams Saffron and serve it the next day.
Did you want Maple Walnut with Rum and Raisins - you can mix chopped Walnuts and Raisins with a couple teaspoons each of vanilla extract and maple syrup, then churn as a Mix in the next day.
The best part is that you can make your ice creams cheaper than you can buy the deluxe tubs at the supermarket, and do multiple tubs of unique flavours.
You could even make that Dubai chocolate ice cream if you're into that taste. Or do a vegan coconut cream and ripe banana sorbet.

Finally if you are lost for inspiration, check out an ice cream book from the library - you may find several great recipes you'd like.

Wow! What a great machine, first thing we made was the frozen Pina colada's, we added Malibu and white rum and it was blended to a smooth consistency, fabulous. 4 mins and she was done. The next thing we made was tinned fruit Gelato, we used jackfruit, needed to add a few more tablespoons of water and respun, beautiful and the mokos loved it. So far we are loving the machine. A tad loud when spinning, but I can't complain it does what it says it does, now we need a few more containers to have a few different things on the make at the same time. I love this product. I turn my protein shakes into a lovely ice cream dessert! And the mrs uses it to make sorbet.

Awesome way to make your own ice cream exactly how you like it. Be aware that it's very noisy though. Other than that, we've been using it to make low calorie ice cream. Recipes call for you to use cream cheese or xanthium gum as a thickening agent, but i have found using SugroMax artificial liquid and full fat milk with a flavor essence of your choice, makes perfect ice cream everytime, just use the respin feature 2 or 3 times to go from powdery to full soft serve ice cream. Add 1/4 teaspoon of xanthum gum to your 700mL mixes. 2 Mangoes + 1 can of coconut cream + 1/4 cup of sugar + 1/4 teaspoon of xanthum gum makes a nice coconut mango dairy free icecream. It is smaller than I thought which is great and fits perfectly in my small kitchen. Comes with detailed instructions and hand recipes. Easy to clean and operate. Was absolutely in disbelief when I made Sorbet for the first time, was exactly like store bought sorbet. Milkshakes are easy and delicious. Highly recommend this product. It's a solid product for people that love ice cream and want to have it with better nutritional options, but it just doesn't come out as good as store-bought ice cream most of the time. It seems to be able to get pretty close sometimes, so maybe it takes more experimentation, but for now, it's pretty good, but not incredible.
