Logitech MX Keys Wireless Keyboard

I ordered this so that I had a full size and heavy duty keyboard for my MacBook Pro. It's nice and solid with a good feel when typing. More "substantial" then the Magic Keyboard.

What I was pleasantly surprised to discover was that it works perfectly well as a PC keyboard too. Command key becomes Windows key and Control key is control key. Completely workable. Therefore, I'm now using it in my home office with the MacBook running work stuff using RDP to get to my desktop in the office AND I simultaneously use it for the PC at home. I was having issues with my blue tooth headset on the Mac so I run MS Teams on the home PC and do my meetings from there, along with Corporate Outlook email, while I access the rest of the stuff behind the firewall on the Mac running RDP under Citrix.

Even better, I can have a 24" monitor for the Mac (connected by HDMI via Satechi usb hub) alongside a 24" monitor for the PC using DisplayPort. Best of both worlds.

I've been using this keyboard for about a month now and also take it on the road when I travel.

- slick transition from 1 machine to another with the 3 preset device exchange keys
- great battery life

Don't get me wrong it's a great keyboard, and I love how its usable in vr with the Quest 2 & 3, but I kinda wish it had an option to have the backlight stay on for longer. I purchased this product as a replacement for my previous Logitech keyboard, which had finally developed a fault with the spacebar after 15 years of constant daily use. This new model is excellent. As is normal with Logitech, the build quality is excellent. They keys are smooth and well spaced, and one big important difference that I noticed is that the base of the keyboard is weighted, which prevents the keyboard from moving around the desk as you type. Great product. Well worth the price! Comfortable/ergonomic, quiet and backlighting. Can't go wrong. On top of that, Logitech's system of easy switching between computers makes life a lot easier. I use a Windows machine but PB tech didn't have the one for windows in store. As someone mentioned in the reviews earlier, this works perfectly on windows too (i.e. all buttons work)!
Typing in this keyboard is great and the best part is switching between work and personal device with the press of a button.

Not only does this keyboard look great and fit in with the rest of my Mac gear, but the backlist keys are a huge help as I work in a darkened room editing and grading. The auto illumination works well and the keys are great to type with. Highly recommend this product. Yep loving this keyboard. I had tried MS keyboards with my MAC, but after a short time they'd stop working. The keys are firm but soft enough for fast typing, and it feels smaller than it is.
