I purchased this to enable my old VHS/DVD player to be plugged into my new Panasonic tv so I could watch old DVD's and Video's. The DVD's worked fine but the picture on the Video's was no good. I was able to return this product with no issues at all and the refund was processed quickly. I purchased a more expensive product from a competitor (as there was no other option at PB) and it works great. I needed this little beauty to connect my old school DVD/VCR player to a new smart TV. Did the trick with absolutely no hassle. Ordering online from PB Tech was easy and delivery faultless. There were slightly cheaper items available from other overseas suppliers but I believe it is worth buying from a reputable NZ based company. Highly recommend both company and product. As a way to extend the usable life of my old gaming consoles, I needed to find a way to convert from RCA to HDMI. This was the only viable option I could find, and it was a mixed result to say the least. Many of my older XBox games on;y support the 60Hz refresh rate, so when I plugged this int the circuit and powered up the console and TV, I was shocked to see the image flickering and warping badly. Setting the console to 50Hz refresh rate gave a much better image, but most of the games refused to play as they did not support the lower refresh.
