I bought 02 ADATA 32GB from PB Tech. Have been a long standing customer of PB which I rate as a A+. However this product was a dissaster for me. I am in IT support and struggled for several hours and many days to establish a bootable OS from USB. Reported various errors and took a long time verytime. Tried on the 2nd unit thinking is a hardware fault on the first. Same outcome. Bought a SanDisk from The Warehouse, worked like a charm first time. Reported to PB but the procedure to return product (How can one find a fault with the original packagig in tact!) is not worth the effort. Disappointed with this brand. The old batch I got was great as the write speed was about 32MB/s but at some point they changed the internal components now the write speed is about 10MB/s.

Firmware failed rendering device unusable after a single use.

A google shows that this is/was common with ADATA devices and there used to be an ADATA tool to fix the firmware, but it no longer exists. Firmware failed rendering device unusable after a single use.

Bought 5 of these on sale and 2 have already failed in less than 3 weeks using them. One of them was faulty immediately out of the pack, and the other failed after 2-3 weeks use. I cannot recommend these. Completely unreliable.

I purchased two of these 128gig 3.2 USB drives purely on the basis that Adata have a good name. The problem is Windows can't recognise the drive halfway through a transfer. Reformatted drives several times. High tier MSI motherboard with up to date drivers. USB drivers all updated to latest versions. Unfortunately this is the first time I have not been able to give PB Tech and their product a positive review. Brought it to use with my Panasonic 900 series 65 LCD TV that seems to run hot like a Plasma.
Been plugged into back of TV around 2 weeks after loading files without issue but had not watched anything.
Plugged into Macböök to add a movie, said it will take 16 hours to transfer a 1.6 GB file.file
Tried watching a show skipped to next file after 10 minutes.
Gone back to 8 year old 16GB Lexar and 6 year old metal cased 32GB Apacer.
My hunch is the Adata drive is not durable and does not like any heat, laptop only.
Will not buy any Adata product again from PB Tech even a simple 3.5mm audio cable.
