I am very happy with this purchase. I often work from home but, until now, have just used the laptop on the desk and one monitor. This stand has made my laptop far more usable by placing it at just the right viewing height so that I have two effective screens. Particularly helpful for my posture when I am working from home every day. I am very happy with this purchase. I'm really enjoying this stand for my monitor and laptop, it is great for moving around the screens which I do often. My one minor complaint is that when I take my laptop off its holder the arm springs up suddenly, which isn't so much a problem as much as it gives me a huge fright every time. That'll be the 'gas spring arm', it's very springy when there's nothing on top of it. I'm really enjoying this stand for my monitor and laptop, it is great for moving around the screens which I do often. This cleaned up my desk so nicely, would buy again in a heartbeat. Arm spring "preload" is super easy to adjust via allen key screw, so heavier displays don't immediately pull the arm down. I bought this to bring more flexibility to my workstation. It works great, it allows to move the monitor almost anywhere, up and down, sideways, etc. The laptop riser works really well too although it is not as easy to move around as the monitor. The base feels stable and the materials seem durable.
