AOC Q32V3S 31.5" QHD Business Monitor

I can't give half stars but I'd prefer to give 4.5 rather than 4 stars mainly due to the 75Hz refresh rate not working with 2K resolution. I agree with the other reviewer, that wasn't communicated clearly by AOC.

Despite that, it's bloomin excellent - for my purpose, even at 60Hz. Maybe not the best for videographers or gamers maybe who might benefit from the extra refresh rate. Also, my screen displayed only at 1080p initially, which might throw a lot of people off. I needed to create a "custom resolution" for my NVIDIA T600 graphics card. 'NVidia Control Panel' -> 'Display' -> 'Change Resolution' -> Customize... Then add 2560x1440 at 60Hz. Looks amazing!.

Not a bad screen for office work but the refresh rate is only 60hz at 1440p. It is only capable of 75hz at 1080p. Checked on Mac and PC and the same thing. Annoying as its clearly advertised as 75zh refresh. If that's not important to you then everything else is good. Looks very Apple'ish in the white finish. This monitor displays coloured pixels adequately. I imagine it also displays black and white pixels, and come to think of it monochrome pixels, and for that stone age aesthetic you could go with green and black pixels only; but I can't review its performance for any of those. I've just displayed coloured pixels, but i have displayed many now, and I can assure you all of them were in the right place at the right time and seemed to be the right colour too. (Just going by eye on that one, it's not like I sit there with Pantene colour swatches checking, that would be weird). This monitor displays coloured pixels adequately. I am not a gamer. Upgraded from a decent LG 24” IPS monitor 1920 x 1200 to this monitor as I wanted more real estate. It does not disappoint. Being an IPS panel, it has Good brightness and colour rendition is great. The 2K resolution is great for productivity work, photo editing and watching video. It does require some calibration for photo editing. No frill and fit for purpose. Recommended. I am not a gamer. The colour is modestly to moderately better than the cheap home-use monitors, and various laptop screens I've used. It recreates some of the more vibrant colours you'd see from flowers or berries in neighbouring gardens or bush — noticeably well. I do enjoy seeing the stronger colours without the rough edges.
The resolution is a step up from 1080p aka FHD and is the stand-out feature for me. Small details no longer blur together and cause fatigue or strain, everything on screen and the spaces between them are clearly defined and simple to distinguish.

The physical space of the screen is possibly too much for me. It's roughly the size of the school desks that I'd had as a child — if you lay it parallel to the ground, you could study on it (I wouldn't recommend risking the damage it might cause to it). While this size is extremely useful, it is difficult to get used to moving my eyes/head to look to each corner of it, especially since I've been using screens roughly half the size or smaller.
Being a large surface, and bright as it is, looking at white-backed apps is even more overbearing than I'd absolutely found on the 1080p. Needed to adjust the brightness and opt to avoid that white space.
The QHD works at 75Hz as stated. I checked in a first-person game, with a trick of looking at the sky and spinning around with VSync forced off. The screen tearing will tell you if the Hz add up or not. With a single tear at 75Hz in game and 75Hz set on the monitor, it appears to produce the QHD@75Hz. While the QHD makes the game look much better, the 75Hz improvement over 60Hz was not noticeable to me. It could give a small advantage in fast-paced games over the 60Hz, if you'd like it.

It also runs surprisingly cool, so shouldn't contribute much to temperature in the summer muck.
All in all, this has big positives for me over my previous 1080p griddle plate. The negatives, beside the potential flash-bangs, are only subjective, and I'm liable to get used to traversing and taming this one, and it seems, to my satisfaction.

Large monitor with great value. I initially debated on getting QHD or 4k and eventually settled on QHD. The pixel density on 31.5" QHD is the same as a 22 FHD which I'm used to. So fonts aren't as small as a 4K monitor.

good size for my uni work and love that its white. looks gorgeous and has nice screen qual.
the only thing to note is that it doesnt rotate horizontally and I wouldve liked an adjustable stand but thats just personal preference :)

Great screen with picture quality. I would not mind if it had at least a 2-watt speaker like some other monitors on the market. But it's a great product. It is highly recommended.
