Bought the phone as gift to someone who owned a S9. They are loving the phone upgrade as the camera on the phone which takes brilliant quality images with lots of details and contrast, but not a lot of noise. It's has lag-free performance, Ultra HD video recording at 60fps and you've got an excellent overall package. This replaced my S9. Very good value for a near flagship model. i haven't found anything that bugs me about it yet in the 2 weeks of owning it. Battery life is excellent. Such a relief to return to Samsung after a couple of years using an obscure (in this country, at least) brand that just didn't work as well, that my husband had bought for me from overseas. I'd had a Samsung Galaxy S5 for many years previously, only giving it up because as a local Civil Defence representative it was a bit embarrasing that it no longer received those notifications; it's still otherwise a perfectly good phone. I bought the S21 instead of the newer S22 because it had better reviews, and it's only a bonus that it came in purple! It seemed reluctant to connect to bluetooth connections (car, ear buds), but it worked fine in the end - the car I found connected when I went to connect another device, when it appeared to not connect earlier, and the ear buds connected when I tried another time. Teething problems, probably a certain amount of user-error on my part, nothing major. I'm finding the S21 easy to use, and easy to customise to my preferences - though I'm still getting used to the different ringtones, but that's on me not the phone. Nice camera - my photography skills have improved no end just with the upgrade.

the phone is great works really well take really nice photos and the USB Type C is actually backed up by a proper USB3.1 gen 1 controller so file transfers are fast "but"
1: No wall charger included = extra cost
2: The included USB Type C cable doesn't work for file transfers on a PC's USB Type C port you only get USB2.0 transfer speeds only super charging works properly so you need to by an extra Type C cable that does work = extra cost
3: No case included = extra cost

Managed to smash my trusty old S9 and after reading various reviews chose this, which was on sale a few weeks ago. Very happy with it. Data transfer and setup went smoothly. I was slightly concerned about whether it would feel too big after the compact S9 but it fits my hand well. I did go for the 256 GB version since this doesn't have space for additional memory (main negative). The three cameras (wide/normal/tele) work well, although tele would be better with more resolution. Battery life is good. I have been using this phone for nearly 2 months now. I can’t fault it. The display is bright, the refresh rate at 120 Hz is great and I have had no lagging or problems. I really like the 6.4 inch screen hence the reason I purchased this phone. The camera set up is fantastic and it takes good quality photos. I highly recommend this phone. My old phone was damaged just prior to the trip of a lifetime in Fiordland (Dusky Track). It was a blessing in disguise. Immediate advantages included: tons of storage, 3x optical zoom, great camera resolution, fast processing (no more waiting at Covid registration), fast reliable finger print recognition, met water & dust resistant standards & heaps more...
