Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2 - 1 Pack - Black

So I bought 3 of these - mainly for anti theft reasons. But upon getting to Thailand what I found really great was that since I had them paired to my phone I could "track" them at any time. I set up a "safe place" so that every time I left my hotel room I did not get notified that it was no longer near to me (after a few times going to the 7/11 down the road for a hot chocolate this gets annoying) and then went about my day. After exploring and ending up god knows where all I had to do was "track" it and in the Samsung Smart Things App it has a navigate option. After exploring and ending up god knows where all I had to do was "track" it and in the Samsung Smart Things App it has a navigate option. By using this I was able to find my way to my hotel every time and not have to worry about getting lost. Just that alone was worth the price. I have now swapped the one that was in my bag to my key ring as it has an audible alarm which means if I forget where I have put them It should be easier to find the keys.

I am thinking about buying a few more of these for my other bags when I travel and a couple of Items I would not want taken and therefore want to be trackable, I would recommend anybody to get these.

I have two of these, one is hidden on my electric scooter to track it in case it has stolen and I have another on my keyring.
I tested the offline find network when I was away and the tag was detected by someone's phone nearby.
Only Samsung phones report the location of the tags, but there is a reasonable number of them in circulation. For this tag I enabled power save mode, which means the battery is likely to last longer than I will be using the scooter as I intend to replace it with an ebike soon.

I find the notify if left behind feature doesn't work so well often saying I left my keys behind when I was still in the house. It did eventually prompt me to add my home as a safe location and the false alerts went away.

In all they are much cheaper and have longer battery life than a GPS tracker.

Got this because we don't know where our cat goes when she wanders. It's easy to set up and lightweight. Puss doesn't object to having it hanging from her collar. It works... when she's near my phone she's easy to locate. Unfortunately the phones in our neighbourhood are either not Samsungs or if they are, they're out at work all day. Once the cat leaves the range of my phone she disappears from the map. However, should she go missing I think we may be able to find her by carrying Samsung phones around the neighbourhood until we get a signal. Works pretty well as a cat tracker in suburban Auckland. I can't see exactly where my cat is but it gives me an idea on where they were in the last few minutes to few hours. Once in range, it will start tracking the signal to give you more of any idea. Works well for me because I moved 1km away to a new house and one cat keeps returning to the old street. GPS trackers only have a few days battery life and I don't want to be monitoring him that closely. PB should sell the sleeve for it to fit on a cat harness.
