Just replaced the battery in my 9 year old Toshiba P50-B
Stopped holding a charge early last year, and on replacing it today noticed the old one was all swollen / completely cooked.
Ordered a replacement from PB tech on Saturday, arrived Monday from AKL, installed and all back up and running beautifully.
Excellent service Team PB Tech - and original Toshiba battery, not some cheap knock off.

Hi, I am having a few issues with this battery. The person who installed it for me is very experienced and works for the computer department at Otago University. Unfortunately he went away a couple of days after he put it into my computer so I need to wait for him to come back and see if he can solve the problem. It doesn't hold it's charge for long and sometimes it doesn't charge. I don't know if the battery or the computer is the problem. I am hoping he can sort it for me.

Given the age of the laptop model, even the original battery when new never had a long life, but at least this replacement has put things back to a usable 2-3 hours (depending on what is running of course). I had been down to less than an hour with the previous battery, and the last 20-30% disappeared in the blink of an eye, so I consider the performance of this replacement one a win! They result is my Lap Top is probably, after 9 years, running faster than new. I am stoked on the result. New battery also great value and service at shop was 2nd to none. Well done PB. I installed this on a laptop which had a dead battery i.e. no charging. The installation was ok. However, the only complaint would be the long cable of the battery. One needs to tie a cable or attach a tape to restrict this battery cable inside the laptop. At 100 % the battery shows that it will last for around 2-3 hours. No problem so far. I got very excited when PB Tech opened in Palmerston North and I'm glad they did. PB Tech was one of only a few suppliers in NZ that had an original Toshiba battery replacement.
It was identical to the original, came with a good residual charge and at a very competitive price.

Needed a new battery for my laptop. Staff were pleasant, did some diagnostics and ordered me the correct battery. Staff seemed very knowledgable. It came in well under the time quoted and was reasonably priced. Only improvement would be to revise their labour costs. I was quoted a lot to have them replace the battery.
