Brought a new Laptop in April and needed a docking station for home and another for work - so that I don't have to unplug things between work environments. I have been using them for a few weeks now, and they meet my needs. Good solid hub. Does what I expect it to and just works out of the box. Have a 4k screen running directly of my laptop and another two screens ( 1x 27 and 1x24) running off the hub so have a solid three screen set up. I haven't given it 5 stars as I do have to power cycle very occasionally to pick up the second two screens, but only once in a blue moon. Good solid hub. This allows me to run 4K monitor, USB keyboard, headset and phone charger from my Dell laptop with no problems at all.

Only downside is that for my laptop (Dell XPS15) I need to use separate power supply for the laptop, as insufficient power supplied from USB C connection, but I knew that when I bought it, and this product is smaller and cheaper than the more high powered alternative hubs I could have purchased instead.

I definitely recommend this product. Have been using this product for a month or so now.

I had to think twice about the price however having wasted my time and money on lesser products this Dell D6000 USB 3.0 Universal Docking Station is by far and away the best I have used. I wished I had purchased this quality in the first place. It saves me time and hassle swapping over my computers daily. Great for home office and business application. I purchased the Dell 3100 under lockdown so that I could use multiple screens with my laptop at home. I have now purchased the Dell 6000 for work for the same purpose. However, it is more than that and is a great docking station with enough ports for my needs. Easy to unhook and take laptop home. Works perfectly with my Lenovo T490, while on my ASUS ZenBook 14 I can connect 2 monitors perfectly, however I cannot charge (this is probably a limitation of the laptop not the docking station)
