I was facing wifi drops from my bedroom in our house which has solid wood walls, now I have no issue, AP is in the kitchen too! It also manages to reach the shed too with good signal coverage.

Very impressed with AP. Used the device to provide a GOOD strength WiFi signal for our wireless network at home.

Have tried multiple modems with built in WiFi and adding WiFi extenders without being satisfied with signal strength.

But this device is the first reliable unit that is user friendly with easy step by step instructions how to configure. Previously had no WiFi signal in far end of the house. I got this and didn't realise that this was to become an extension of the current modem i have, not to replace it entirely. After working out one of my cables wasn't working, i was able to get it setup and running (after about an hour or two). Our internet speeds have increased by a lot, so would recommend this for a product that doesn't cost that much. First UniFi product I've given less than 5*

The simple fact about this AP is that it has better WiFi coverage than the other mid-range UniFi APs and my only issue is that I was expecting better coverage than the AC-PRO and I don't think it does. I have replaced this now with an AC-PRO and relocated it 25M away to get the coverage I need - I get better coverage with the AC-PRO where I swapped them over and if I knew this I would have just got two AC-PROs for the bandwidth.

If you install the modem on the room you don't have stable Wifi on the TV room, or, if you install modem on the TV room whoever stays on the farthest room will struggle. Initially I had two modems, one on the bedroom and the other on the tv room and both wifi enabled, the Wifi signal in the room modem interferes with the tv room, if you stay in the middle of the house your devices won't have any decent signal, mobile suffers the most.

My idea was having the so miraculous Unifi on the room and disable all the wifi from the Spark modem, it turns out the Unifi signal it is same or worst them the modem one, and I will consider as worst because the modem has to stay inside the closet and the Unifi I manage installing outside of it.
200 buck flying from my pocket I still have to live having to decide where the good wifi will be.
