Brought this for my parents to help extend their wifi around the house. A little bit difficult for my dad to set up on his own but the 64 year old did it okay and is now working well! The Netgear range extender works really well, and has increased my connectivity from really erratic to entirely predictably regular. Wonderful! especially for the price! Works perfectly - now I have a great connection for my YouTube in the garage. Easy to set up, and great value for money (I have a friend who went to trouble and expense of having a techie install underground cabling in a similar situation). Got this because my flat wifi wasn't making it to my bedroom. Works fairly well, pretty easy to set up. Can finally stream netflix in bed and play online games at my desk! Solved a problem extending range from house to garage. Easy setup with no dramas. Pushed the signal through dense walls and is providing strong sustained signal. Does the job at a fair price. Easy set up- even for an amateur like me. Working from home and needed the distance to be away from the house noise! No problem extender. I've been using this for a few weeks now and not one problem. I have a 2 storey house, and downstairs the WIFI is great, with the modem being in the office downstairs. Upstairs only 2 bedrooms got WIFI, that being the rooms above the office. So I purchased this product and now all 5 bedrooms upstairs get WIFI - am very happy! The set up took a bit longer than I thought, as for me it did not work just by pushing NWTGEAR device WPS and the WPS on the modem, so I had to use the assistant online (using my PC) to connect the device to WPS. Works exactly as intended. However, if you made the mistake thinking this will boost speed, that it does not.
