I have tried various extenders and found this one to have the easiest set up although the WPS setup did not work for me the manual setup was flawless. Highly recommend it AAA plus service as well. Easy to setup. The 'online assistant' directions on the back of instructions were brilliant (vs manually linking modem to extender via buttons). Everything prompted and very user friendly. Has fixed the two dead spots in master bedroom and guest bedroom. So happy! Highly recommend this product. Easy to setup. I bought this to replace a cheaper unit that didn't support 5ghz bandwidth in the dead-zone hallway & bedroom end of my house (I've now moved that to garage duty), which is a single level 275 sq. meter long sprawling affair, with the main WiFi router situated at one end meaning most of the bedrooms at the far end get very little signal. I wasn't expecting a whole lot considering the price and how tiny it is, but it's a real performer, and it just disappears given how tiny it is, so you are not looking at some ugly piece of tech with antenna sticking out. Now got perfectly good coverage in every room! While the setup was slightly less easy than I had hoped ( it did not work automatically, new had to use the website to force the connection), once it was connected and had run through the process we placed it, and the result has been excellent.

We now have full wifi coverage in all rooms, inc those 3 rooms that had previously been a problem. It would be fair to say that there is no line of sight, and plenty of obstacles to connection, in these rooms, but the connection is strong, and we have full bars in all.

I generally only get 2 bars of signal upstairs from my router which is downstairs (and 1-2 bars for the 5 ghz band). My speeds were so slow, even just for browsing, and the connection often dropped out completely. The speeds were great downstairs though when nearer to the router (fibre internet through Spark).

Just received my order, set it up within 5 mins watching a Youtube video, and did some speed tests and I am very happy with the results! My speed went from 3.5 mbps to 10.8 mbps on the 2.4 ghz band which I was stoked about. I then tested the 5 ghz band not expecting anything and the speed went from 1.8 mbps to 40.9 mbps!!!

I truly don't understand how this thing works, but it is amazing. It's so small and inconspicuous as well which is another plus.

This does exactly what it says it does. We plugged in inside a bathroom cabinet and it has given us a strong WiFi signal out on our deck. Perfect! Easy to set up, too. Glad I bought the Netgear range extender.. It’s so easy to set up. Now have wifi access in all rooms. Would recommend this product if you’re in the market for one.
