Functional, looks fine, durable enough, grippy on table side. Mouse surface is akin to the old Razer 'speed' mat but at a fraction of the price. There is no point spending more unless you like the aesthetic of other solutions or you are very picky. I've got a medium at home and a small at work. The small is very generous still. The surface is brilliant and makes my mouse work so well. I use Apple Magic mice, which are finicky on some surfaces; they work great on this. The logo is absurdly large, fortunately this mouse mat is large, and so there is still lots of usable surface and that doesn't affect my use for productivity software. Beware, if you're a gamer, that all the surface isn't usable, you can only use the bit that doesn't have the All Blacks logo. This mousepad is amazing, I've originally used the X2 mousepad for a few years and it was a great feel but as I've switched to the X1mousepad it's the perfect size for any environment and the quality build could not get any better. I highly recommend this mousepad as I feel as if it will continue to be as smooth and good for gaming as I continue to use it in the future.
