Corsair RM750x 750W ATX 3.1 Power Supply

This is a review for the ATX3.1 12VHPWR 850W version - nice build quality and sleeved cables.
The inclusion of a manual fan speed control to override zero rpm mode is quite handy, especially if you are installing in a server and would benefit from more continual airflow.

I usually go Corsair, and this has not disappointed. I usually go Corsair, and this has not disappointed.

Checked reviews before buying this and it's very highly rated. Sure it doesn't come with the nice shiny new power pin for Nvidia's power hogging GPU's, for less that $400 you get a very, very solid PSU that also comes with an industry leading 10 year warranty. And there's no pointless RBG stuff on it either.

About the only downside is the shear chonk of it, but that just means there's more space for air to flow. Then again I have plenty of room in my Fractal Design R7 for it :P Though in saying this, I should have gotten the shift version, as my case has enough space to route the cables. I don't know if it's just because it's been a while since I upgraded, (from an EVGA SuperNOVA 80 Plus Gold 650W PSU purchased late 2016,) but this thing is *quiet*. If it wasn't for the lights and case fans I'd be worried my PC wasn't turning on. Other than that it looks good, has a solid build quality, and does everything it's supposed to. Cables are no more or less fiddly than any other PSU; I managed to wrangle everything in a mini-ITX case so I'm happy. Had some research on psu selection. Corsair rm series is good overall and only thing that people didnt like was the price.
