Brother HLL2375DW Mono Laser Printer

This is an awesome printer for the money if all you want to do is print black/white. Most importantly it has full duplex, and can be connected via Wifi, ethernet, or Usb. Its fast, has a 1200dpi resolution, and is reasonably quiet. Its not a multifunction, so obviously no scanner built in.

My only nitpick with this thing is that entering configuration settings is extremely painful if you don't have WPS when setting up on wifi, or don't use DHCP when using ethernet. But that's a one off thing anyway.

I'd take this over an inkjet any day of the week after having suffered through years of clogged printheads and expensive ink. This was our second Brother Mono printer. The first we had for 5 + years and served us well until a paper feed problem that was not practical/financially to repair. This new one is similar in size but is much quicker. Only real gripe is Brother has not improved their installation process for wireless connection is still very primitive and requires you to initially make a physical USB connection. Other than that for the price is a very economical basic printer. This was our second Brother Mono printer. This is the first Brother printer that I've purchased, the decision was made as this printer was the best value for money considering it's got a duplex function. Set-up was easy and so far it's proven a reliable and great printer. I'm now a Brother convert! The power cable is an issue for me it is hard wired into the unit, The unit does not have an on off switch either, the existing power button takes for ever to shutdown the printer. But all in all for what you pay its a pretty decent unit.
