Epson Expression EcoTank ET-2810 All-in-One Printer

Doesn't like anything thicker than 80gsm without issues, the colours come out darker than expected and completely different from the screen (windows 10) doesn't matter how I configure my screen, there is odd sounds from machine sometimes like crunching and clicking, I seem to have run out of black ink very fast and often have black ink on my pages which is very annoying especially when printing photos, The print menu says it is printing borderless but doesn't, it has a border and is often crooked especially on photo paper. I've had this a few months now, and it's been printing out a few hundred pages of readings for uni and the odd download very happily. The app works well on my Samsung Galaxy s22 Ultra and let's me print from anywhere in the house very easily. Tonight I put it to the test. From my phone, an 18MB+ full colour art reference book, 67 pages, high resolution colour images on every page. It took a while, sure, but the colours have printed beautifully, and the ink tanks are over 3/4 full. The inks haven't bled when I've drawn over then using alcohol markers. I'm very happy. 10/10 would recommend. If I had customers waiting for printouts, I'd suggest going laser.

A little bit difficult to set up on wi-fi/direct connection using iPhone (via QR code in the paperwork) and then Macbook but I got there in the end. The lack of an in-built screen/user interface makes it slightly harder, but sure we'll get used to it after some time. Had to download separate drivers (printer and scanner) for Mac (OSX13 Ventura) but straightforward on Windows 10 (drivers downloaded automatically). the printer is great. unfortunately the process of setting up the printer to work with my laptop was poor as was the support i received from Epson. They promised to call back within an hour and phoned back 6 days later. I am pleased with the Epsom ET-2810 printer. It is an intelligent printer and will decrease the cost of ink considerably. The refill system allowing you to buy the ink, rather than cartridges, and fill the ink bottles, is excellent and easy to use. Of course, you can always have some spare bottles on hand. The product was accurately described on the web site clearly identifying all the features I required. The search engine worked well and did not get cluttered up with only "vaguely related" results. Stocking levels were accurate. Pick up requirements including security and identification requirements (ensuring the item would not be given to anyone unauthorised) were clear. On collection, their store was adequately staffed so I did not wait very long. The Serviceperson that assisted me on site was confident, friendly and polite. The whole process of making this purchase flowed really well and I would recommend PDTech as a competent dealer. The machine prints OK but the paper entrance flap is flimsy. The hinge flap
system two pins on the body of the machine with two holes on the paper entrance flap I suspect will fail off in the near future.
The pull out paper draw for your final print is very flimsy. I was almost tempted to return the machine as have sub standard features. We live a bit far from the store and I needed to send out some pamphlets.
