This power supply has the lead out the bottom cf the power supply for the pi 4. Extra power for all the extras one can attach to the pi 5. Not going to break the bank either. Such a breath of fresh air to find a USB-C charger that lives up to its specs, is high quality, AND is for sale for a good price. I've been replacing the phone and tablet chargers that the wife and kids break with these for several months now. Even smaller laptops in a pinch.

The only caveat is that you might want to wait for PB Tech to stock the 45W version. It has already been released internationally, for just an extra USD$3), an can provide 45W at 20V which is much more suitable for laptops too. I was getting cryptic I/O errors with an Oak-D Lite AI camera running off one of the USB-3 ports on a Rasberry Pi 5 which immediately resolved when I upgraded to this 27W power supply. Turns out the camera couldn’t draw enough current through the USB port when the Pi was running on the standard (RPi 4) 15W power supply, The camera would run ok with simple scripts but once loaded with a neural network or two, it became to power hungry for the 15W supply to support.
