There is nothing special about these except they look a lot nicer than a typical power board, and the USB ports are useful. Beware that the USB-A ports are a max of 5 watts each (10W combined as it has 2 ports), the advertising is a little mis-leading on that.
Would love to see USB-A ports of 15-30 watts on these. Also a mix of USB-A and USB-C would be good. I've got four of these things now, highly recommended. Brought the first 2 a few months ago. The only quirk of the design is that one socket will always be unusable if it's resting on a surface. I can see why the design choice was made though, it allows the power board to be used in a number of different ways. Great space saver. I've got four of these things now, highly recommended. I have one of these and bought this and another as gifts.

They are very handy as they are small and don't take up any room.

I bought this a few weeks ago from PB Tech for surge protection that I needed for my modem and printer.

Both are plugged in on opposite sides, it sits well on a little table and I haven't had any problems with it.
